Favorite Farmhouse Style Chairs

Finding the perfect farmhouse style chairs just got easier!

After my kids got a hold of a permanent marker, I had to begin the search for new dinning chairs .  Here is what I am shopping for, including what to look for in finding and selecting your next farmhouse styled chairs.

• Always look for a neutral colors that will go with your decor color and style
• Try and find chairs that are inter-changeable in your table style setting
• Look for taller chairs that can be captain chairs or anchors in your table setting
• Find shorter chairs for around your table
• Remember the color of the fabric and texture of your farmhouse chairs do not always have to match around your table
• Think about looking for two chairs that can be captain chairs or be used in other rooms as regular chairs.

I am also looking for a great farmhouse style chair and a half or oversize chair to add to my family room as well.   I found these cozy chairs and thought I would share some tips on how to select the perfect double seat chair for your home.

• Before you start looking for your over sided chair measure your space
• Nothing is worse than thinking a chair will make a great snuggle chair and have it be too small or too big.  Before you shop, decide if you want a single chair or chair and a half.
• Check your favorite seat depths – not all chair seat depths are the same.
• Look at the seat back heights as well.
